Samantha FitzGerald

Granville Elementary School Resolution Room

Mrs. FitzGerald has worked in education for 13 years. She taught special education for 12 years in Casper, Wyoming, and preschool for one year. She has a dual degree in Special Education and General Education grades 1-6 from SUNY Plattsburgh. She loves the strong sense of community at Granville and is excited to help students develop a strong foundation of social-emotional skills. She lives in Lake George with her husband, Scott, and four-year-old daughter. She also has an eight-year-old black lab, who is a therapy dog. 

Melinda Lewis 

Nurse

Mrs. Lewis comes to us from Rutland Regional Medical Center, where she worked as an RN in the Progressive Care Unit. She earned her Associates in Applied Science from North Country Community College. A 2009 Granville graduate, she is glad to work at Granville Elementary because it is close to home and family. She lives in Hebron with her husband, Michael, and their two daughters, Aria and Addison. 

Jessica Petty

Teachers Aide

Mrs. Petty is happy to be working at GES as a Teachers Aide. Before this she was a stay-at-home mom. She is a 2011 graduate of Granville and is married with 2 children.

Kristina Tucker

Tutor

Mrs. Tucker has tutored and mentored students of all ages. Prior to coming to Granville, she worked in Albany teaching adults and tutoring school-aged children. She also taught grades 2, 3, 5, and 7/8 Algebra. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the College of Saint Rose, and a Master's Degree in Literacy from SUNY Plattsburgh. She is happy to provide individualized teaching and support to Granville students who have been a real pleasure to work with. She lives in Queensbury with her husband, three children, two dogs and a cat!
