Ashley Abbott

Administrative Assistant

Ms. Abbott worked at Price Chopper and Adirondack Pediatrics before starting at MJT. She attended Adirondack Community College, where she studied business. She feels blessed to be able to work in the district and get to know all the children and families. She lives in Granville with her daughter. 

Erica Aratare-Forrest 

Lunch Monitor

Mrs. Aratare-Forrest has lived in Granville her whole life! She is a 2012 graduate of Granville, worked in retail, and is a stay-at-home mom. She is glad to be here because her daughter is in second grade, and she gets to see her at lunchtime!

Skylar Baker

Teachers Aide

Ms. Baker worked as a medical assistant for a family medicine practice and as a server at Jens Pit Stop before starting at MJT. She is a 2009 Granville graduate and chose to work here because she wants to be a part of our students’ education. She lives in Hebron with her son, Malaki, two dogs, cats, and ducks. 

Lily Hahn

Kindergarten 

Miss Hahn is beginning her first year as a full-time teacher! She holds a Bachelor of Science in Childhood and Early Childhood Education (B-6) from SUNY Cortland and a Master of Science in Literacy Education from SUNY Oneonta. She is a 2018 Granville graduate and wanted to teach here to give back to the community that served her. She experienced a full circle moment by teaching kindergarten in the classroom that was her kindergarten classroom in 2005-2006! She lives in North Hebron. 

Alexis Smith

Physical Education

This is Miss Smith's first full-time teaching position! Before this, she was a student teacher at Hudson Falls Middle School and then subbed for a year and a half at Granville Jr/Sr High School as a Long Term Substitute. She earned her Bachelors in Science from Castleton University and is working on her Masters from there as well. A 2017 Granville graduate, she chose to work here because it's home, and she wanted to work in the community in which she grew up. She lives in Granville with her dog, Kyla Ren, and cat, Butterscotch. 

Lauren Tooley

K/1 Special Education

Miss Tooley is starting her first year as a special education teacher. She was a resident teacher in the fourth grade at Cambridge Elementary School for two years while completing her Master's degree. She earned a Master's of Science in Teaching from Suny Plattsburgh and Bachelor's in Math and Spanish from Castleton University. She chose to work at Granville because she has family all around the Granville area, and it's a place that feels like home. She enjoys traveling, trying new foods, learning about different cultures, attending sporting events, hiking, kayaking, and yoga. She also plays softball through the warmer months and loves spending time on the beach. She lives in Hebron with her two pets.
