gradening at GES begins in April 2026 with Ms. Law

Granville Elementary is starting free, After-School Gardening on Thursdays with Ms. Law beginning April 16th, 2026, right after school until 3:30 PM.

Ms. Law is a long-term substitute teacher at Granville Elementary and gardening expert with experience teaching through Cornell Cooperative Extension in Granville's Summer Academy for K-5. Gardening with Ms. Law will take place weekly on Thursdays after school.

Students will learn about growing plants from seeds, how to grow food and how to rebuild and care for the gardens at GES.

Students will need transportation home from a guardian at 3:30 PM or they can stay with St. Mary's After School Food, Fun and Friends until 5:00 PM (with prior registration).

If you would like to register for After-School Gardening, please email Ms. Law at LLaw@granvillecsd.org

Please include guardian name, student name, guardian phone number and email address, any known student allergies and that you understand pick up is at 3:30 PM sharp at GES unless your student is registered with St. Mary's.

If you would like your student to stay with St. Mary's After School Food, Fun and Friends until 5:00 PM, space is limited and also requires registration in advance. Here is the link to register with St. Mary's.
