School budget planning season is here and Granville CSD invites the school community and those living in the Granville CSD District to attend these meetings (in-person or virtually) to understand the budget planning process in the District.
All Board of Education meetings welcome public comment at the beginning and at the end of each meeting, as related to agenda items. Here is the link to the Board Agenda items.

The following Board of Education meetings include budget discussions at the Granville Jr/Sr High Library.
Monday, March 9th - Preliminary Board discussion of Instructional and Administrative Budgets (budgets are still in flux and subject to change at this point). Here is the direct link to the Superintendent's preliminary discussion about the 2026-2027 budget (approximately 19 minutes).
Monday, March 23rd at 6pm - Full Proposed Budget Workshop: This is not the final budget. During this meeting Mr. Hall reviews a draft of the budget and the BOE asks questions and provides feedback for the budget. The public may ask questions or email questions and the Superintendent will follow up with answers. All questions received will be compiled to a FAQ information.

NEW! Thursday, April 2nd at 6pm - Board of Education Workshop - The Board and the public provide input on proposed budget.
Monday, April 13th at 6pm - Board of Education Meeting: The Board votes to approve final the budget. The public may ask questions and the Superintendent will follow up with answers.
May 4th - Complete printed Budget Packet available at all three school buildings and online for public.
Week of May 4th - Budget newsletters are mailed to taxpayers and available for pick up at the schools.
Monday, May 11th at 6pm - Budget Hearing - Board of Education meeting - public may ask questions about the budget and the Superintendent will follow up with answers.
Tuesday, May 19th at 10am - 8pm - Budget Vote: At Granville Jr/Sr High, Senior High Gym (Please use the outdoor track entrance and parking lot and enter behind the school into the gym. Signage will be visible.)

EARLY MAIL IN AND ABSENTEE BALLOT
Early mail or absentee ballots are obtainable at the office of the Clerk of the District between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except holidays.
Completed applications for mail in ballots must be received by the Mrs. Zinn, District Clerk at least seven (7) days before the election if the ballot is to be mailed to the voter, or the day before the election, if the ballot is to be delivered personally to the voter.
Early mail and absentee ballots must be received by the District Clerk not later than 5:00 p.m., prevailing time, on Tuesday, May 19, 2026.
