Thursday, June 26th, 7pm - Baccalaureate, Granville Baptist Church
The Baccalaureate is a long-standing tradition in Granville. It is non-denominational service coordinated by local pastors to honor the graduating seniors. Students take part in readings, a musical number and there is a guest speaker that shares words of wisdom with the graduates. Family and community members are invited to attend to celebrate the students. All seniors and their families are welcome and encouraged to attend. Please wear your cap and gown. (A rehearsal for those with speaking parts will occur at 10am.)
Friday, June 27th, 9am - 11am - Class of 2025 Graduation Rehearsal
Seniors: Meet in the Sr. High Gym for some directions and discussions. We will line up in order and practice the procession. We will go over all elements of the ceremony. You will receive your class picture, report card, and tickets at the end of rehearsal. Attendance is mandatory.
Friday, June 27th, 6:30pm - Class of 2025 Graduation (Arrive by 6:15 for Line Up)
Seniors: Make sure you are dressed and lined up by 6:15 PM with your cap and gown on the front lawn (weather permitting, otherwise in the Sr High Gym). Congratulations to all of our students moving up to new schools and out into the world!
Suggested Attire for Graduation Ceremony and Class Picture: Blue Gown - A light or white dress shirt with collar looks best. A polo shirt with a collar will work as well. Yellow Gown - A light colored dress or skirt looks best. Shorts could be work for the picture.
Outside Ceremony: Each student will receive 2 tickets for the outside seating. All others are welcome to bring a chair and set up on the front lawn.
Inside Ceremony (Sr High Gym): Each student will receive 4 tickets for seating on the main flor. All others are welcome to sit on the bleachers.
