Dear Granville Community,
I am writing this letter to formally introduce myself as the Interim Principal at Granville Elementary School for the remainder of this school year.
While I know many of you, I wanted to take this opportunity to reach out and let you all know what a privilege it is to serve in this capacity.
In the past, I have been a part of the Granville school community as a Teacher, Coach and High School Administrator. Granville is a truly wonderful place and I am looking forward to working with you and your children in this new capacity.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. I am looking forward to our time together.
Sincerely,
Daniel R. Poucher

Good Afternoon GES Community,
I would like to ask that you join me in welcoming Mr. Dan Poucher to GES as our new Interim Principal. For those of you who do not know Mr. Poucher, he is our retired Assistant Principal at the Jr/Sr High. Mr. Poucher is a longtime Granville staff member who has been active in our community for many years. Mr. Poucher will be with us for the remainder of the 23-24 school year. We anticipate beginning a formal principal search in mid-spring to select a new permanent GES Principal.
Please feel free to contact Mr. Poucher or my office directly should you have any questions.
Tom McGurl
Superintendent of Schools

Schools must ensure that students have equitable digital access to the internet and to electronic devices by surveying the school community each fall. The results must then be reported to the state. Completion of the digital access survey via the eSD portal helps the school district meet this mandated requirement.

Good afternoon,
Please be advised that after a review of the new GES schedule on Friday, it has become apparent that some additional elements require attention. Those elements have been addressed, but the teachers and support staff have yet to have the opportunity to review them and provide feedback. Therefore, the intended schedule rollout for Monday will be placed on hold until that can happen. Though the MJT schedule is finalized and ready for Monday, it is linked to the GES schedule and, therefore, cannot be rolled out independently.
As has been said all along, this is a work in progress, and there will be continued adjustments along the way. Your continued support is appreciated as we work through these final elements. Advance notice will be provided when the new elementary schedule goes into effect.
Have a wonderful weekend
